78 Year Old Completes CKM Level 1 Test
|
|
Wayne Humphrey, a two year member of St.
Louis Self-Defense & Fitness, completed level
1 of Commando Krav Maga in April. At 78, Mr.
Humphrey, passed his test not only with
"flying colors" but is recorded as the most
"mature" of age to have passed a level of
CKM. "I feel good about passing it, I'm very
proud of myself" says Mr. Humphrey. "It's
good exercise and I feel as though I'm
concentrating on something important. You
don't plan for them to be necessary but they
could be if you ever found yourself in those
circumstances." Goes to show, age really is
deceptive and self-protection training is
important no matter what the age.
Congratulations Wayne!

Congratulations WCKM Graduates!!!
|
|
CONGRATULATIONS to Penina, Tirtza, Aviva, and
Temima for passing both tests for WCKM Phase
1: Protection and Phase 2: Empowerment!!! The
girls began training a year and a half ago
and were instrumental in helping pilot the
WCKM techniques and
curriculum, which was
launched internationally early this year.
These four high school girls are excellent
role models for other girls their age, as
well as for women of all ages. I am so
privileged to have been their instructor and
wish them all the best with their future
endeavors!

Members: Earn your way to a free membership
|
|
Most of us understand the importance of
quality when it comes to health and fitness
as well as the price that comes with it. At
St. Louis Self-Defense & Fitness we would
like to give you the opportunity to reduce
your membership and potentially come for free
through our referral program. Briefly, here's
how it works. You, the (full or fitness
monthly member), have a friend join as a
(full or fitness monthly member) and lists
you as his or her referral source. In return,
you, the original member, has reduced your
monthly fee between $15 to $20 each month you
are a member. For each friend you have
sign-up (or drop-out), your membership
decreases (or increases, but never over your
original sign-up rate). Essentially, you
could end up as a member coming free of
charge each month!
